A Mother's Day gift for my mom. She adores owls, so the choice was obvious. There are three of them, in varying colors; one for my mother, one for myself, and one for my little girl.

Anyway, speedpainting in photoshop. 5 hours, wacom 4x5 graphire tablet, some various references used for the owls.

This version is not watermarked, as it would be very interruptive to the piece overall, so play nice.

Beautiful work, Serp! You should teach me to speedpaint, someday. Getting such feather detail in such a short amount of time is astounding to me.

Wow! It's very beautiful. Lovely work. :)
Your speedpaintings are just wonderful, Serp, as I've said elsewhere.

But can you do PEEPAINTINGS like me?

Alas, I cannot :( My peesprinkle skills are only level 5, and I have to reach level 10 before I can gain artistic pee +1. *cries in shame*

I love all the angles, as I already mentioned, the feathers are nicely detailed too ^^
